    • There's 2 dedicated young people's groups, including a new one starting in Scranton called "Young and Free Group"
    • YPAA (Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous) shows newcomers we are 'not a glum lot', all ages welcome to help
    • Upcoming event is Love At First Fright

Summarized Response from Group As long as everyone is in agreement collaboration is ok, our district workshop needs to be for our district... needs to be something else. If you want to incorporate YPAA to do something (like a presentation or a booth), that is fine.

The flyer needs to have District 39 as the only host of a workshop that we host as a requirement to fulfill the obligation.

  • Midvalley noon had a presentation last week
  • The office will have a presentation today
  • Sarah is enjoying getting to know people in our district; groups are encouraged to sign up for a presentation.

  • If there's changes that need to be made on the blue chair app, take it to District 39 Any group that's changing their name-- we cannot be affiliated with outside enterprises (hospital, person, etc)

    • The H and H dance will be hosted at the Scranton Double Tree hotel. Flyers will be available next month.
    • Literature will increase in price by 15%. Exceptions are the big book and the 12 and 12.
    • There was a change in leadership of the webshite committee.
    • Hospital and institutions committee is looking to change their name to the treatment committee.
    • The newsletter is looking for articles.
